Jackson County Sheriff’s Office: assisted the Heron Lake Police Department with a one-vehicle crash with injuries, 4:11 a.m. Saturday.

Minnesota State Patrol: 6:48 a.m. Saturday, westbound Interstate 90 just west of the Magnolia exit. A 2016 Chevrolet Silverado operated by Heath Richter, 41, of Spencer, Iowa left the roadway after the driver had a medical issue. Richter and a 9-year-old male passenger were both transported to Sanford Luverne with non-life-threatening injuries. The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office assisted.

Minnesota State Patrol: minor one-vehicle crash, 10:12 a.m. Saturday, Jackson.

Pipestone County Sheriff’s Office: hit and run, 2:47 p.m. Sunday, 500 block of Minnesota 23, Pipestone. A 2012 Dodge Avenger operated by Penny Scribner of Pipestone sustained minor damage.

WPD: 7:10 p.m. Sunday, Humiston Avenue and Ryan’s Road.

WPD: 1:17 p.m. Monday, roundabout at U.S. 59/Minnesota 60.

 

Fires

8:17 a..m. Saturday: 1200 block of 131st Street, Pipestone, barn on fire. The roof of a barn had taken a hot ember from a fire that had not been properly burnt the night before and was smoldering. The Holland Fire Department contained the fire before major damage was done to the structure. No injuries were reported.

10:21 a.m. Saturday: structure fire, Rost Township. Lakefield Fire Department and Lakefield Ambulance dispatched.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Office: domestic disturbance, 7:34 p.m. Friday, Jackson.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Office: arrested a 32-year-old Round Lake male for driving under the influence, 11 p.m. Friday, Jackson County 34 west of Jackson.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Office: domestic disturbance, 8:35 a.m  Saturday, Hunter Township.

Lyon County Sheriff’s Office: Cory Reiter, 39, of Sibley, Iowa was arrested Monday for failure to appear on drug distribution offenses in Lyon County. He was held in the Lyon County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
