Lyon County Sheriff’s Office: Tuesday, Sixth Avenue and Carroll Street, Rock Rapids, Iowa. A 2006 Ford Fusion operated by Abigail Gukeisen, 18, of Rock Rapids was northbound on Carroll Street when she turned too short, hopped the curb and struck a fire hydrant, causing approximately $5,000 damage to the vehicle.
