Crashes

Lyon County Sheriff’s Office: Tuesday, Sixth Avenue and Carroll Street, Rock Rapids, Iowa. A 2006 Ford Fusion operated by Abigail Gukeisen, 18, of Rock Rapids was northbound on Carroll Street when she turned too short, hopped the curb and struck a fire hydrant, causing approximately $5,000 damage to the vehicle.

NCSO: crash with injuries, 5:02 p.m. Tuesday, 500 block of Amy Avenue, Round Lake.

WPD: crash that occurred Monday, 6:24 p.m. Tuesday, 300 block of 10th Street.

NSCO: vicious dog, 1:13 p.m. Wednesday, 23000 block of Oliver Avenue. Warning issued for dog at large.

WPD: fraud, 2:14 p.m. Wednesday.
