WORTHINGTON - The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 7:11 a.m. Monday for an elderly female who was dizzy and lightheaded.

WORTHINGTON - The Worthington Police Department investigated reports of a missing person at 5:09 p.m. Sunday in the 900 block of Grand Avenue.
ASHTON, Iowa - The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office investigated reports of domestic assault at 5:51 p.m. Sunday at 230th Street. Officials determined that Brenda Lynne Van Oort (51) had assaulted a family member. She was placed under arrest for domestic assault causing bodily injury. Van Oort resisted arrest and was therefore charged with interference with official acts and was transported to the Lyon County Jail in Rock Rapids.
ASHTON, Iowa - An Osceola County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Jose Armando Ayala Lopez, 28, of Sheldon, Iowa, for driving while barred and driving while revoked during a traffic stop Sunday. Ayala Lopez was booked into the Osceola County Jail.
