ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa -- The Lyon County Sheriff's Office investigated a vehicle-deer accident at about 6:30 p.m. Friday at Iowa 9 and Lyon County K60. William Peters, 56 of Sioux Falls, was driving a 2005 Ford F150 pickup truck that sustained about $1,100 in damages. There were no injuries.

ELLSWORTH -- The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a rollover accident at 7:05 p.m. Saturday on 3305h Street west of Ellsworth. Emily Timmer, 16, of Ellsworth, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Impala when she lost control of the vehicle, ran off the road into the left ditch, and the vehicle rolled. She was transported to Sanford Luverne Hospital, treated and released. The vehicle was a total loss.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated an accident at 4:28 p.m. Saturday at Ninth Street and Second Avenue. The Worthington Fire Department was also dispatched to the scene for smoke coming from a vehicle.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a hit-and-run accident reported at 10:41 p.m. Saturday from the 200 block of West Okabena.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated an accident at 1:33 p.m. Sunday at Humiston Avenue and Ryan's Road.

Ambulance

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 11:57 p.m. Saturday to the Atrium High Rise, 819 10th St., to assist a man having a diabetic reaction. He was treated on scene.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 1:56 a.m. Sunday to Sungold Heights, 1538 N. Spring Ave., to assist a man with an undetermined medical condition.

Fire

ROUND LAKE -- The Round Lake Fire Department was dispatched to a portable dryer on fire at 8:12 a.m. Saturday on 740th Avenue.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a burglary reported at 9:51 p.m. Friday from the 1600 block of Oxford Street.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department cited a 25-year-old male for possession of a small amount of marijuana at 12:17 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of 10th Street. The man was also arrested on a Nobles County warrant.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department arrested a 30-year-old male for driving while intoxicated at 6:12 a.m. Saturday on Minnesota 60 just north of Worthington.

DUNDEE -- The Nobles County Sheriff's Office investigated verbal threats reported at 8:44 a.m. Saturday on West First Street. A man was warned for trespass.

WORTHINGTON -- The Nobles County Sheriff's Office investigated a theft reported at 4:14 p.m. Saturday from 270th Street in rural Worthington.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department cited three juvenile males for curfew violation at 11:45 p.m. Saturday on Omaha Avenue, south of Clary Street. They were released to their parents.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a burglary reported at 1:12 a.m. Sunday from the 2000 block of East Oxford Street.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated the loss of a wallet reported at 2:34 a.m. Sunday from the Long Branch Saloon, 207 10th St.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department warned a juvenile male for curfew at 4:18a.m. Sunday at Nobles County 35 and 5.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a person found sleeping on the floor of a house reported at 6:16 a.m. Sunday from the 200 block of Lake Street. The man was arrested and cited for disorderly conduct, booked to be released when sober.

ADRIAN -- The Adrian Police Department arrested a 36-year-old female on a Ramsey County warrant at 8:37 a.m. Sunday on Maine Avenue. She was booked and lodged.

WORTHINGTON -- Wal-Mart, 1055 Ryan's Road, apprehended an adult male shoplifter at 2:19 p.m. Sunday. He was booked and released.

Births

Mohamed and Sara Berte, Sioux Falls, S.D., are the parents of a girl, Layla Adalynn, born Nov. 5 at Sanford Hospital, Sioux Falls. Grandparents are Sandi Mead and Doug Mead, both of Worthington, and Mamadou and Adama Berte, Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
