ROUND LAKE -- The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of a vehicle that struck a pole and went in the ditch at 9:14 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of 310th Street and Read Avenue.
WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a crash reported at 12:01 p.m. Monday from the intersection of Ryan’s Road and Humiston Avenue.

LAKE BENTON - The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a personal injury crash at U.S. 75/211th Street at 1:13 p.m. Monday. Drivers of a 2013 Kenworth Semi and 2004 Freightliner Semi crashed, resulting in serious injuries and severe damage to the vehicles. The Pipestone County Sheriff’s Office, Pipestone Fire and Rescue, Pipestone Ambulance and Lake Benton Fire and Rescue were on the scene to assist.

SIBLEY, Iowa -- The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ronald J. Niles, 33, of Greenfield, Iowa, on Sunday for operating while intoxicated first offense, possession of a controlled substance third offense and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also cited for allegedly possessing an open container. He was booked into the Osceola County Jail and held on a $3,600 bond. The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop south of Sibley on Iowa 60.
