Crashes
Pipestone County Sheriff’s Office: 6:03 a.m. Saturday, 400 block of 80th Avenue, rural Pipestone County. A 1996 Chevy Tahoe operated by Martha Arevalo-Jurado, Pipestone, lost control and entered the ditch. No injuries were reported; the vehicle sustained major damage. The Jasper Fire Department, Jasper Ambulance and Pipestone Ambulance assisted.

Pipestone County Sheriff’s Office: one-vehicle rollover, 9 a.m. Saturday, 600 block of Minnesota 23, rural Pipestone County. The Pipestone Fire Department, Pipestone Ambulance and Minnesota State Patrol were also at the scene.
Pipestone County Sheriff’s Office: 2:41 p.m. Saturday, Fourth Street Northwest and Fifth Avenue Northwest, Pipestone. A 2006 Saturn Vue operated by Guadalupe Alvarado De Aguilar, Pipestone, and a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country operated by Rebecca Wolman, PIpestone, collided at the intersection. No injuries were reported; both vehicles sustained severe damage. The Pipestone Ambulance and Fire Department assisted.

Pipestone County Sheriff’s Office: 6:01 p.m. Sunday, 1600 block of 21st Street, rural Pipestone County. A 2017 Ford F-450 operated by Bradley Redlinger, Brookings, S.D., struck a deer. No injuries were reported.
Police
Lyon County Sheriff’s Office: Richard Ripper Jr., 36, of Dell Rapids, S.D. was arrested at 12:08 a.m. Sunday and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. The charge stems from an incident when a Lyon County K9 alerted to illegal narcotic odor coming from Ripper’s vehicle.
Lyon County Sheriff’s Office: Madison Kramer, 19, of Rock Rapids, Iowa, was arrested at 2:43 a.m. Sunday on fugitive from justice charges. She had an outstanding warrant out of Minnehaha County, South Dakota for failure to appear on two drug-related charges. Kramer was transported to the Lyon County Jail to await extradition.
