ADRIAN -- The Nobles County Sheriff's Office investigated a report of a car-deer collision with no apparent injuries at 5:36 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Edwards Avenue and 220th Street.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a report of a car-deer collision with no apparent injuries at 1:30 a.m. Thursday on northeast Minnesota 60.

BEAVER CREEK -- The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a report of a two-vehicle collision with a personal injury at 2:54 p.m. Thursday at the Minnesota 23 westbound Interstate 90 ramp. Orvin Haugerud, 66, of Montevideo, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado southbound on Minnesota 23, while Jose Lejia, 52, of Eagle Pass, Texas, was driving close behind him. Haugerud realized he had to turn onto the entrance ramp at the last minute and slowed quickly, braking and turning simultaneously. The right front of Lejia's vehicle struck the left rear of Haugerud's vehicle. Haugerud and his passenger, Margaret Haugerud, 74, of Montevideo, received no apparent injuries. Lejia was also uninjured, and his passenger, Leticia Lejia, 53, of Eagle Pass, was treated and released.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 10:45 a.m. Thursday to Perkins to assist a male who fell. He was transported to Sanford Regional Hospital Worthington.

Fire

ELLSWORTH -- The Ellsworth Fire Department was paged at 1:58 p.m. Thursday to the intersection of Minnesota 91 and 300th Street in response to a corn field fire.

Police

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a report of boys with a slingshot at 4:28 p.m. Wednesday at Azteca. No damage was done and the boys were advised to take the slingshot home and leave it there.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a report of a stop arm violation at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday on Nobles Street. The driver was warned.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department warned three juvenile males for trespassing at 8:08 p.m. Wednesday at Sungold Heights. They were released to their families.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a report of vandalism at 9:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of Humiston Avenue.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department cited a juvenile male for illegal acts at 1:01 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of East Avenue and Oak Avenue.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a report of theft, which turned out to be a burglary, at 7:31 a.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of Sherwood Street.
