WORTHINGTON - The Worthington Police Department investigated a hit-and-run accident - a vehicle backing into a sign pole and leaving the scene - reported at 3:43 p.m. Wednesday from the 1200 block of Oxford Street.
ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa - The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office investigated a two-vehicle accident at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday at South Store Street and South 10th Avenue. Josie Moser, 21, of Alvord, Iowa, was driving a 2009 Bluebird School Bus. Peter Menage, 16, of Rock Rapids, was driving a 2004 Dodge Durango. Menage was cited for failure to yield to vehicle on right. The bus, owned by Rock Rapids Kids Club, sustained approximately $2,500 in damage. The Durango sustained $4,000 in damages. There were no injuries.

WORTHINGTON - The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 5:11 p.m. Tuesday to Ecumen Meadows, 1801 College Way, to assist a resident who had fallen and possibly fractured a hip.

WORTHINGTON - The Worthington Police Department investigated an accident that happened earlier in the day and was reported at 5:31 p.m. Tuesday from Sanford Worthington Medical Center.
WORTHINGTON - The Worthington Police Department investigated a dog bite reported at 7 p.m. Tuesday from the 800 block of Eighth Avenue.
WORTHINGTON - The Worthington Police Department cited a driver for instruction permit violation at 1:32 a.m. Wednesday at Nobles Street and Nobles County 5.
WORTHINGTON - The Nobles County Sheriff investigated a report of cattle on the road at 7:47 a.m. Wednesday at Nobles County 35 and Cory Avenue.
