Accidents
SIBLEY, Iowa -- The Osceola County Sheriff's Office investigated an accident Tuesday at 250th Street and Nettle Avenue. Christopher James Straus, 19, of Ashton, Iowa, was driving a 1999 Chevrolet pickup truck that sustained $12,000 in damages. He was transported to the Osceola Community Hospital with unknown injuries. Dennis Dale Bosshart, 47, of Jackson, was driving a 1997 International semi trailer rig that sustained $6,000 in damages. Straus was cited for failure to obey a stop sign, failure to prove security against liability and driving while suspended.
HOLLAND -- The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a head-on accident at 7:37 a.m. Wednesday. Robert Goslar, 16, of Holland, was driving a 1990 Chevy Lumina, one mile north of Holland on 181st Street and a quarter-mile west on 130th Avenue. Goslar hit a Cat road grader driven by Donald Lupkes, 61, of Woodstock. Goslar received incapacitating injuries. Lupkes was not injured.
Ambulance
WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 5:16 p.m. Tuesday to 39358 270th St. to assist a woman who had fallen and possibly broken her hip.

Fire
BREWSTER -- The Brewster Fire Department was dispatched to a semitrailer rig fire at 7:09 p.m. Tuesday on the exit ramp in the westbound lane of Interstate 90 on the Nobles-Jackson county line.
Police
WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a burglary reported at 5:36 p.m. Tuesday from the 200 block of Cecilee Street.
WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a domestic assault reported at 8:57 p.m. Tuesday from the 1500 block of North Spring Avenue. A 33-year-old male was arrested and booked for domestic assault and assault by strangulation.
