SIBLEY, Iowa -- The Osceola County Sheriff's Office investigated a report of a two-vehicle collision with possible injuries at 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Terry Debey, 35, of Rock Valley, Iowa, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe south on Iowa 60 north of 240th Street. Edward Dagel, 78, of Sibley, was driving a Buick Park Avenue north on Iowa 60 and stopped in the median to make a left turn onto 240th Street. Dagel did not see Debey's vehicle approaching before entering the intersection, causing a collision. Debey's vehicle sustained $3,000 in damage, and he was cited for failure to yield upon entering a through highway. Dagel and his passenger, Betty Dagel, 76, of Sibley, were both transported to Osceola Community Hospital with possible injuries. The Sibley Ambulance assisted at the scene.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a report of a two-car collision with no apparent injuries at 12:17 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Nobles County 5 and Nobles County 35.

SPIRIT LAKE, Iowa -- The Dickinson County Sheriff's Office investigated a report of a two-vehicle collision with injuries at 12:36 p.m. Monday at the intersection of 175th Street and 280th Avenue. Morris Miler, 48, of Milford, was driving a 1995 Chevrolet pickup south on 280th Avenue when he collided with Deanna Shay, 54, of Milford, who was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer westbound. Both vehicles were believed to be totaled, and both Miler and Shay were transported to Lakes Regional Healthcare for treatment of incapacitating injuries. No charges have been filed, and the collision is still under investigation. The Dickinson County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Iowa State Patrol, Arnolds Park Police Department, Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Enforcement, Dickinson County Emergency Management, Superior Fire and Rescue, Terril Rescue and Lakes Regional Ambulance Service.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 6:15 p.m. Saturday to 308 Nobles St. to assist a woman who fell. She was transported to Sanford Medical Center Worthington.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 1:07 p.m. Sunday to 819 10th St. to assist a male having a seizure.

WORTHINGTON -- The Nobles County Sheriff's Office arrested a person for drinking and driving at 12:29 a.m. Friday on Minnesota 60.

SIBLEY, Iowa -- The Osceola County Sheriff's Office arrested a 19-year-old male for possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), a serious misdemeanor, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to prove security against liability Saturday after being stopped for an equipment violation. His vehicle was searched after the Osceola County K-9 unit indicated on the vehicle.
