LAKEFIELD -- The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a motorcycle accident at 1:34 p.m. Wednesday on Interstate 90 at the Lakefield exit. Polly E. Carden, 27, of Ann Arbor, Mich., was westbound on a 1986 Honda motorcycle when a piece of loose clothing caught and wrapped around the rear wheel, causing the wheel to lock. She was transported to Sanford Hospital, Sioux Falls, for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The motorcycle sustained severe damage.

ASHTON, Iowa -- On Tuesday, the Osceola County Sheriff's Office arrested a 26-year-old woman on charges of operating while intoxicated second offense and violation of one-way traffic designation. She was booked into the Osceola County Jail on $2,300 cash bond.
SIBLEY, Iowa -- On Tuesday, the Osceola County Sheriff's Office arrested an 18-year-old male for third-degree burglary, operating without owners consent and fourth-degree theft. The charges stem from an investigation of property taken from a Sibley residence. He was booked into the Osceola County Jail on $8,000 cash bond.
