GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- The owner of a Grand Forks apartment where a deer crashed through a window says his home looks like a slaughterhouse.
The deer crashed into Adam Bye's ground-floor apartment Wednesday and thrashed around before police officers eventually caught and killed it. Authorities say the deer was too badly injured to survive.
Bye says the deer left a bloody mess.
The animal will be butchered and the meat given to a food pantry.
