SLAYTON - The Southwest Regional Development Commission will host a coffee and broadband legislative discussion from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Center for Regional Development, 2401 Broadway Ave.
Momentum is building to provide significant funding for rural broadband at the Minnesota legislature this year. This will be a roundtable discussion with area legislators, showcasing how broadband, or the lack of it, affects local businesses, farm, health care and education.
