District GOP elects leadership

OWATONNA -- Republican activists from across southern Minnesota gathered Saturday in Owatonna to elect new leadership for the First Congressional District Republican Party.

OWATONNA - Republican activists from across southern Minnesota gathered Saturday in Owatonna to elect new leadership for the First Congressional District Republican Party.

 

Jeremy Munson, a businessman from rural Lake Crystal, was elected as chairman of Minnesota’s 1st District Republican Party. Joel Hanson of Winona was re-elected as deputy chairman to help lead party operations.

 

Josh Anderson of Springfield was elected as the district’s representative to the Minnesota State Republican Party Executive Board. Chris Styndl of Mankato was re-elected as treasurer to lead fundraising strategies. Spencer Krier of Albert Lea was elected as secretary to lead social media and digital advertising campaigns.
