WORTHINGTON — Minnesota West Community & Technical College was recognized at the Minnesota State Academic and Student Affairs (ASA) Conference, which took place Oct. 23– 25.

Minnesota West was presented with the Innovative Partnering and Collaboration Award, which recognizes institutions that have created partnerships that “have been specifically created as an opportunity to acknowledge those curricular and program or service efforts that reflect the changing nature of the education landscape.”

Minnesota West was recognized for partnerships created in K-12, higher education and private businesses through the innovative collaboration creating Career & Technical Education (CTE) Career Pathways and LYFT programs in Southwest/Central Minnesota.

“We are proud to be a partner in such an exciting venture and want to thank Minnesota State for recognizing our efforts,” said Linda Pesch, Interim Associate Dean of Student Affairs/Perkins Coordinator. “The passion and creativity of our area partners has ignited enthusiasm in this endeavor to reimagine career and technical education in southwest Minnesota.”
