LAKE PARK, Iowa -- The Iowa State Patrol investigated a fatal accident involving a Spencer, Iowa, woman Saturday afternoon.
According to the report, Beverly Steuben, 80, was driving a 1999 Buick southbound on M27. Steuben had stopped for the stop sign at Iowa 9. Kayla Foushee, 23, of Ocheyedan, Iowa, was westbound on Iowa 9 in a 2000 Chevy.
Steuben pulled out from the stop sign into Foushee’s path. Foushee struck the vehicle on the driver’s side. Steuben died at the scene.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office and Lakes Regional Hospital Ambulance.
