Firearm safety course to start soon

FULDA -- Fulda Fish and Game will offer a course on safe gun handling, care of firearms, live firing, hunting ethics and wildlife management. Participants must be 11 years old or older by the first day of class.

FULDA - Fulda Fish and Game will offer a course on safe gun handling, care of firearms, live firing, hunting ethics and wildlife management. Participants must be 11 years old or older by the first day of class.

Classes will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Feb. 23 and March 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 at Fulda Ambulance Hall (305 E. Front St). A field day will follow from 1 to 5 p.m. Apr. 6.

After completing the course, students will need to self-certify on the DNR website in order to receive a Minnesota DNR Firearm Safety Certificate.
