Heavy rainfall along and south of Interstate 90 late last night and yesterday morning of an inch to an inch and a half left the ground saturated with moisture. This brought another round of rainfall to the area.
Flash flooding of creeks, streams and rivers will be possible as heavy rain moves through. Some urban flooding will also be possible.
A flash flood watch means conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding, a very dangerous situation. Anyone in the area should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action, should flash flood warnings be issued.
