Lyon County Sheriff’s Office: 7:39 p.m. Monday, Lyon County K-52 just south of Rock Rapids, Iowa. A 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser operated by Katherine Jane Kassel, 28, of Rock Rapids was northbound when it went off of a sharp curve, struck the ditch and rolled over, coming to rest on its roof. Kassel was transported to Avera Rock Rapids for non-life-threatening injuries. The vehicle was a total loss. The Rock Rapids Fire Department and Lyon County Ambulance assisted.
