12:56 a.m. Monday: 900 block of Winifred Street, Worthington.

2:28 a.m. Monday: 15000 block of 250th Street, Adrian.


WPD: 5:56 p.m. Saturday, crash without injuries, Centennial Park.


WPD: 1:45 a.m. Monday, crash without injuries, 600 block of Betty Avenue.

NCSO: 1:57 a.m. Monday, crash with injuries, Nobles County 35 and Durfee Avenue, Adrian.

Minnesota State Patrol: 2 p.m. Monday, two-vehicle crash on eastbound Interstate 90, west of Worthington. Jason Elmer Erbentraut, 40, of Rockford, Illinois, was driving a 2014 Chevy Cruze eastbound when it collided with an eastbound 2011 Dodge Caliber driven by Herminio Gudiel Ventura-Romero, 27, of Worthington. Erbentraut was not injured, while Ventura-Romero sustained non-life threatening injuries. Two passengers in the Dodge Caliber also received non-life threatening injuries: Sandra Leticia Felix-Marroquin, 28, of Worthington; and Roni Leonidas Marroquin-Agustin, 22, of Worthington. All three were transported to Sanford Worthington Medical Center. Not injured was a third passenger in the Dodge, Hugo Jordani Velasquez-Felix, 5, of Worthington. All individuals were wearing seatbelts, and the airbags deployed in both vehicles. Assisting at the scene were the Worthington Fire and Rescue, Nobles County Sheriff’s Office and Sanford Worthington Ambulance.


11:27 p.m. Sunday: 900 block of Diagonal Road.

10:21 a.m. Monday: 1700 block of East Avenue, tree trunk near the house is emitting smoke.


WPD: 5:15 p.m. Friday, verbal argument, 1200 block of Milton Avenue.


WPD: 6:59 p.m. Friday, public urination, 1400 block of Prairie Drive.

WPD: 7:42 p.m. Friday, disturbing the peace/loud party, intersection of Burlington Avenue and Dover Street.

WPD: 2:23 a.m. Saturday, driver warned for license plate light out.

WPD: 3 a.m. Saturday, found property, 1600 block of Oxford Street.

WPD: 11:57 a.m. Saturday, property damage, 1500 block of North Burlington Avenue.

WPD: 1:14 p.m. Saturday, assault, 200 block of 10th Street.

WPD: 5:31 p.m. Saturday, disorderly child.

NCSO: 9:46 p.m. Saturday, fireworks, Third Avenue, Brewster.

WPD: 9:29 p.m. Saturday, disturbing the peace, 1200 block of Fifth Avenue.

WPD: 11:52 p.m. Saturday, citation issued for reckless driving, speed and stop sign violation.

WPD: 9:48 a.m. Sunday, reports runaway, 600 block of Orchard Road.

NCSO: 6:27 p.m. Sunday, property damage, 28000 block of Minnesota 91, Adrian.

Lyon County Sheriff’s Office: Sunday, arrested Sebastian Pares, 20, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, for reckless driving and possession of alcohol under the legal age.

Lyon County Sheriff’s Office: Sunday, arrested Daniel Wessels, 60, of George, on an active warrant from Arkansas for parole violation. He is charged with fugitive from justice.

WPD: 12:11 a.m. Monday, assault, 1400 block of East Avenue.

Lyon County Sheriff’s Office: 12:25 a.m. Monday, deputies dispatched to a residence in Little Rock, Iowa, after which Mason Burg, 18, of George, was arrested and jailed as a minor in possession of alcohol.

Lyon County Sheriff’s Office: 12:30 a.m. Monday, deputies responded to an altercation in George, Iowa, in which Frederick Buckalew Jr., 23, of George, broke into a residence and assaulted a female victim inside by choking her. He fled the scene and was later located at a nearby residence. He resisted arrest and spit on law enforcement on the scene. He was arrested on domestic abuse assault, assault on persons in certain occupations and interference with official acts. Assisting were the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office and Rock Valley, Iowa, police department.

WPD: 11:39 a.m. Monday, scam, 2100 block of Nobles Street.
