NCSO: vehicle crash with injuries, 7:29 p.m. Tuesday, intersection of 310th Street and Town Avenue. Round Lake Rescue and Worthington Ambulance dispatched.

WPD: hit and run, 9:24 a.m. Wednesday, intersection of Minnesota 60 and Nobles County 35.

WPD: vehicle crash without injuries, 12:56 p.m. Wednesday, 200 block of 10th Street.


WPD: vehicle crash without injuries, 5:28 p.m. Wednesday, 1400 block of Oxford Street.

NCSO: car-deer crash without injuries, 6:55 a.m. Thursday, intersection of Nobles County 25 and 230th Street.

Minnesota State Patrol: 1:56 p.m. Thursday, Minnesota 60 at U.S. 71, Windom. Richard Clark Andersen, 55, of Watertown, was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado eastbound on Minnesota 60 and Judy Ann Cihak, 74, of Jackson, was driving a 2018 Ford Escape westbound on Minnesota 60, attempting to turn left onto U.S. 71 when the vehicles collided in the intersection. Cihak sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the Windom Hospital. Andersen was not injured. Both were wearing their seatbelts, and both airbags deployed. Assisting at the scene were the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office, Windom Police Department, Windom Fire and Windom Ambulance.

NCSO: vehicle off roadway, 9:22 a.m. Friday, 27000 block of Nobles County 35.

NCSO: motor vehicle crash without injuries, 9:44 a.m. Friday, Interstate 90 in mile 27, Adrian.

NCSO: vehicle off roadway, 10:01 a.m. Friday, 320th Street and Read Avenue, Worthington.

WPD: motor vehicle crash without injuries, 11:08 a.m. Friday, Minnesota 60 and East Avenue.

Minnesota State Patrol: 11:40 a.m. Friday, Minnesota 71 in mile 25, Jackson County. Sarah Hitchcock, 51, of Spencer, Iowa, was southbound in a 2007 Toyota Rav 4 when the vehicle went off the roadway and rolled into the ditch. The road was covered in snow and ice at the time. Hitchcock was transported to the Windom Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, as was passenger Ashlye Lorena Parada, 23, address unknown. Parada also suffered non-life threatening injuries. Passenger Christopher James Hitchcock, 26, of Jackson, was not injured. All three were wearing their seatbelt. Assisting at the scene were the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office, the Windom Ambulance, Windom Police Department and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

7:21 a.m. Wednesday: Brewster Fire Department was dispatched to a truck fire near Sundberg Avenue and 180th Street, Brewster.

NCSO: scam, 11:19 a.m. Wednesday, 900 block of Sixth Avenue, Brewster.

WPD: motor vehicle theft, 6:09 p.m. Wednesday, 1600 block of Oxford Street.

NCSO: livestock complaint, 7:14 a.m. Thursday, 250th Street and McCall Avenue, Worthington.

WPD: property damage, 1:41 p.m. Thursday, 1000 block of Ryan’s Road.

WPD: trespass, 3:58 p.m. Thursday, 1500 block of Collegeway.

WPD: arrested adult male for fifth-degree possession on a Lyon County warrant, 11:21 p.m. Thursday.

WPD: scam, 1:18 p.m. Friday, 1700 block of Collegeway.
