Osceola County Sheriff’s Office: 2:40 p.m. Friday, 100th Street and Highway 60. A 2011 Freightliner Cascadia registered to Hokeness Farms of Adrian and operated by Adam W. Rivera, 39, of Ellsworth was traveling eastbound on 100th Street and failed to yield at the intersection, causing it to be struck at the center of its trailer by a 2005 Ford F150 operated by Darrel D. Deweerdt, 76, of Sibley that was northbound on Iowa 60. The semi sustained approximately $5,000 in damages; the Ford had about $10,000 in damages. Deweerdt was extricated by non-mechanical means and transported by Sibley Ambulance to the Osceola Regional Health Center with non-incapacitating injuries. The Sibley Fire Department, Bigelow Fire Department, Nobles County Sheriff's Office and Minnesota State Patrol assisted.

Osceola County Sheriff’s Office: car vs. deer, 5:30 p.m. Friday, Iowa 60 north of 250th Street. A 2012 Ford Fusion operated by Kristin Liepold, 24, of MIssion, Kan. collided with a deer. The vehicle sustained approximately $8,000 in damages. No injuries were reported.

WPD: car vs. building, 11:31 a.m. Saturday, 1900 block of Oxford Street.

NCSO: firearms, 9:19 p.m. Friday, 12000 block of McCall Avenue, Fulda.

Osceola County Sheriff’s Office: Joseph MIchael Stone-Strock, 25, of Sibley, Iowa was arrested Saturday following a report of a suspicious person on 11th Avenue and 10th Street in Sibley. He was charged with alleged public intoxication second offense and fifth-degree criminal mischief. Stone-Strock was transported and booked into the Osceola County Jail on a $1,300 bond.

WPD: trespassing, 4:06 a.m. Saturday, 1200 block of East Ninth Avenue.

WPD: theft of lawn mower bagger, 9:54 a.m. Saturday, 1600 block of North Burlington Avenue.

WPD: trespassing, 11:38 a.m. Saturday, 200 block of Oxford Street.

WPD: motor vehicle theft, 12:36 a.m. Sunday, 200 block of Oxford Street.

WPD: arrested adult male for disorderly conduct, 1:53 a.m. Sunday, 200 block of 10th Street. A juvenile male was also cited for disorderly conduct and curfew violation.

WPD: assault, 1:58 a.m. Sunday, MIles Drive and Fairway Drive.


WPD: harassment restraining order, 3:18 p.m. Sunday, 1100 block of Seventh Avenue.
