WPD: hit and run, 7:48 p.m. Wednesday, 1700 block of Cecilee Street.

Minnesota State Patrol: motor vehicle crash with injuries, 7:34 a.m. Thursday, Interstate 90 westbound, milepost 55. Sungkum Yang, 52, was driving a 2021 Hyundai Ion eastbound on Interstate 90, accompanied by Sungchun Park, 24, when she left the road and struck a sign. Both were wearing seatbelts and the vehicle’s airbag did not deploy. They were transported to Sanford Worthington Medical Center and Park was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Brewster Fire and Worthington and Jackson ambulances both assisted at the scene.

Minnesota State Patrol: motor vehicle crash with injuries, 1:32 p.m. Friday, Minnesota 60 and 510th Ave., Bingham Lake. Duncan Edward Johnson, 22, was driving a 2019 Hyundai Tucson west on Minnesota 60 with passenger Michelle Dawn Perkins, 22, of Forest Lake, and Leland Carlton Johnson, 87, was driving a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country south on Cottonwood County 2, when the vehicles collided in the intersection. All three people were wearing seatbelts and airbags deployed in both vehicles. Johnson received non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Windom Hospital. The Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.


Osceola County Sheriff’s Office: James Daniel Casey, 52, of Rockwell City, Iowa, was found guilty of stalking, a class D felony, and possession of a burglar’s tool, an aggravated misdemeanor. He was sentenced Monday to a five-year term of incarceration, a sentence which was suspended. He has been placed on probation for two years. On the charge of possession of burglar's tools, Casey will serve 180 days in the Osceola County Jail, with all but 30 days suspended and with credit for time already served. He was fined $1,880.00, 15% crime services surcharge, and costs.

Lyon County (Iowa) Sheriff’s Office: adult male arrested Monday in Mankato on a Lyon County warrant for sexual abuse in the second degree, a class B felony. He was transported to Lyon County Jail on a $25,000 cash bond.
