Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office: 4:01 p.m. Tuesday, 220th Street and 270th Avenue, Milford, Iowa. A 2016 Chevrolet Silverado operated by Joel Holland, 55, of Terril, Iowa was eastbound on 220th Street, slowing down and preparing to turn south on 270th Avenue when struck by a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu operated by Nuvia Ruano, 29, of Estherville, Iowa, which was westbound. Ruano sustained minor/non-capacating injuries and was transported by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare. Holland was uninjured. The Milford police and fire departments, Lakes Regional Healthcare Ambulance and Terril Ambulance assisted.

Lyon County Sheriff’s Office: Rachelle Liesinger, 29, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, was arrested Tuesday and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
