Free genealogy class for beginners scheduled

SLAYTON - The Murray County Historical Society, Slayton Public Library and Fulda Memorial Library will present “In the Beginning,” a seminar by Meredith Vaselaar, librarian at the Adrian Branch Library. Vaselaar will teach the basics of beginning genealogy research.

The workshop is available at two different times - either 2 to 4 p.m. or 7 to 9 p.m. April 10 - at the Dinehart-Holt House in Slayton. Supplies and refreshments will be provided. Participants should bring their laptops.
