MARSHALL - The leading Republican candidates for governor are slated to participate in a southwest Minnesota issue forum on Nov. 27
The program will be hosted in the Student Center at Southwest Minnesota State University. A meet-the-candidates reception begins at 6:15 p.m., with the forum following at 7 p.m. The program will include questions from the audience and a local media panel, and statements from the candidates.
The discussion will focus on issues of interest to Greater Minnesota and especially southwest Minnesota. The forum will be livestreamed on The Uptake, a non-profit citizen journalist organization, through its website at www.theuptake.org and its Twitter and Facebook platforms.
