WORTHINGTON — Following the interview process with three county attorney candidates Tuesday afternoon, Nobles County commissioners voted 4-1 to extend a conditional offer to current Assistant Nobles County Attorney Adam Johnson, according to the county’s administration office.

The board conducted interviews with three candidates. In addition to Johnson, interviewees included Joseph Sanow, Sleepy Eye, the current Assistant Redwood County Attorney; and Stamate Skliris, St. Paul, the current Assistant Dodge County Attorney.

Current Nobles County Attorney Kathleen Kusz announced her retirement earlier this summer, to be effective Sept. 30.
