WORTHINGTON — Due to the new MNDRIVE system and the increase in COVID-19 cases in Nobles County, the Nobles County License Center will return to appointment only to serve county residents.

Starting Monday, the Nobles County License Center will offer driver’s licenses and ID cards by appointment only to allow for social distancing. All other services can be done via the mail or through the 24-hour drop box at Door #1 of the Government Center.

New appointments are added each day to the “No-Wait-Inside” appointment scheduler found at co.nobles.mn.us. Appointments are available seven days before the date, so if individuals have a specific date in mind, they will need to wait until the date is within seven days to make an appointment.

Before a scheduled appointment, please refer to the Nobles County website to pre-apply for a driver’s license or ID, and bring the application code to the appointment along with the required documents. Individuals who need to renew a standard driver’s license, and do not require any changes in their current information, can now renew completely online at drive.mn.gov.

Title transfers and tab renewals are only processed by mailing them to P.O. Box 757 or by dropping off at the drop box at Door #1 of the Government Center. Title transfers and tab renewals are processed daily and will be mailed out to residents. Please be sure to include your insurance information and a phone number in case more information is needed.

The staff is working hard to serve the residents of Nobles County while following COVID-19 guidelines. Since a photo and eye exam are required for a driver’s license or ID card, it's asked that appointments are used only for those services. Please continue to mail or use our drop box for tab renewals and title work.
