WINDOM - The Cottonwood County Historical Society will host its 116th annual meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday at 812 Fourth Ave., Windom.
The afternoon begins with a short business meeting followed by featured guest speaker Anita Gaul, who will present “The Women of Southwest Minnesota in the Great War.” Gaul currently teaches in the History and Humanities programs at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall and works part-time as curator of the Murray County Museum in Slayton.
A light afternoon lunch will be served. The Remick Gallery will be open for viewing with the exhibit entitled “Return,” showcasing 30 pieces of art from local artist Haley Tardiff.
