HORACE, N.D. - A 17-year-old girl told authorities she awoke early today to find a masked man standing next to her bed in Horace, N.D.
Cass County Chief Deputy Jim Thoreson said the sheriff's office has no leads on the suspect.
Authorities were called at 12:57 a.m. to the 7100 block of Woodland Circle.
The girl told authorities she awoke in her basement bed-room to find a man wearing a dark-colored Nike hooded sweatshirt and a dark-colored mask. She said she screamed and the intruder fled the home.
Deputies arrived within a few minutes and found no vehicles in the area and nothing missing from the home, Thoreson said.

The door to the house and a service door to the garage were both unlocked, he said.
"The key in this thing is you've got to lock your doors when you go to bed at night," he said.
