Huls scores 17 as Red Rock Central wins in double OT

MOUNTAIN LAKE -- Kyle Huls scored four of his 17 points after regulation, and the Red Rock Central boys' basketball team defeated Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin in double overtime Monday, 60-56.

Tim Furth added 16 points for the Falcons, who are now 9-9 on the season and 4-7 in conference play.

Barrett Herrig scored 16 points to top ML/B-O (2-9, 4-14). Evan Anderson added 13 and Matt Strom had 12 for the Wolverines, who shot 6-of-25 from 3-point range.

ML/B-O visits RL-B Thursday.

HILLS -- Nathan Ten Naple led a high-scoring attack with 21 points as Sioux Falls Christian won on the road.

Aaron Esselink paced Hills-Beaver Creek (9-10) with 29 points. Halden Van Wyhe had 23, Adam Finke followed with 14, and Cody Rozeboom scored 12.

LAKE PARK, Iowa -- Nate Brueggeman scored a game-high 21 points to lead Harris-Lake Park.

Ryan Rowe added 13 points and Travis Nissen followed with 11 for the Wolves, who improved to 12-6.

Lon Eichenberger and Cole Baumgard tied for the team lead for the Raiders with 13 points each.

H-LP visited Clay Central-Everly, while RL-B (6-11) hosts Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin Thursday.

ELLSWORTH -- Brooke Kix scored 15 points and dished out six assists to lead the Panthers (10-8) to victory Monday night.

Amanda Connors and Amanda DeBoer (8 rebounds) each finished with 13 points, while Brooke Kramer posted 10 points and 11 rebounds. Laura Timmer had five steals.

Stephanie Grassrope led FIS with 10 points.
