Incumbents Ernst, Cummings file for city council

WORTHINGTON — Two incumbents filed on the first day of the filing period in hopes of retaining their seats on the Worthington City Council.

Chad Cummings filed Tuesday to retain his At-Large seat on the council, while Amy Ernst has filed for the Ward 2 council seat.

The filing period began Tuesday and continues through Aug. 11 for city offices, school board positions and some townships.
