HERON LAKE - A man was transported to Sanford Worthington with a possible injury after becoming lodged in a combine hopper Wednesday afternoon on a Jackson County farm.
According to a press release by the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, first responders were dispatched at 3:25 p.m. to a location in LaCrosse Township for a report of a man that had fallen in a combine hopper while performing maintenance. Personnel were able to safely remove him from the hopper, the release states.
He was then transported to Sanford Worthington by the Heron Lake Ambulance.
The release did not identify the man.
