Jamie McCarthy and Chad Janssen, both of Wilmont, announce their engagement.
Parents of the couple are Mike and Jeanne McCarthy, Jackson, and Marc and Darla Janssen, Rushmore.
McCarthy is a 2005 graduate of Jackson County Central High School. She is employed at Technical Services for Electronics.
Janssen is a 2004 graduate of Adrian High School and 2006 graduate of Minnesota West Community and Technical College. He is employed at Brad Sieve Electric, Luverne.
They plan an Aug. 23 wedding at American Lutheran Church, Worthington.
