WORTHINGTON — The Buffalo Ridge Young Marines will host an informational meeting for those who may be interested in joining the Young Marines program in Worthington.
The law makes Minnesota the first state to issue benefits to hourly school workers laid off after the school year ends on a permanent basis.

“As I got to digging into that, the Grand Army came to the fore, and one little thing led to another, and it was like ‘Man, this story needs to be told.’”
The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 25, in the back meeting room of Living Waters Covenant Church, 1645 S. Shore Dr., Worthington.
Recruit training is scheduled from 1 to 9 p.m. June 14-16, and from 8 a.m. to noon June 17.
