Cristina Adame, America Voss file for Worthington City Council

Both filed Tuesday afternoon, on the last day of the filing period. The filing period will close at 5 p.m. today.

WORTHINGTON — Cristina Esther Adame and America Voss both completed candidate filings this afternoon in hopes of serving on the Worthington City Council.

Adame has filed in Ward 1, while Voss filed to serve the residents of Ward 2.

The two join a growing list of candidates for two council seats and the Worthington mayoral post.

Additional candidates in Ward 1 are incumbent Larry Janssen; and in Ward 2, incumbent Alaina Kolpin and Nathalie Tshioko Nkashama.

Filing for mayor, thus far, are Chad Cummings, Rick Von Holdt and Rod Sankey.


Individuals have until 5 p.m. today to file an affidavit of candidacy at Worthington's City Hall.
