District 518 approves hires, resignations and employment changes

WORTHINGTON — The District 518 Board of Education approved changes in employment for many employees at its April 18 meeting. They were:

Resignations

• Heidi Mathiason as kindergarten teacher at Prairie Elementary.
• Jaime Freed as EL first grade teacher at Prairie Elementary.
• April Kalscheuer as DCD special education teacher at the Intermediate School.
• Barb Persing as class II paraprofessional at the Intermediate School.
• Casey Hertz as assistant principal at Worthington Middle School.
• Lorna Kruger as business/careers teacher at Worthington High School.
• Jeremiah LaTourneau as math teacher at WHS.
• Megan Busman as art teacher at WHS.
• Jodi Boneschans as special education paraprofessional and secretary at WHS.
• Mikayla Schroeder as special education teacher at WHS.
• Austin Peters-Smith as math teacher at the Learning Center.
