Jackson County Sheriff’s Office: two suspicious vehicles with loud exhausts were reportedly driving carelessly on the north side of Fish Lake, 8:54 p.m. Monday. Two teen boys driving vehicles that matched the description were located, informed of the complaints and warned about exhibition driving.

JCSO: transported a 25-year-old man from the Watonwan County Jail back to the Jackson County Jail on a felony motor vehicle theft warrant, 2:46 p.m. Tuesday. The warrant involves the theft of a 2002 Chevy S10 on Feb. 14 from the Schwalbach Hardware parking lot in Jackson. The man is also being held on warrants from Scott and Ramsey counties.

JCSO: traffic stop, 12:30 a.m. Thursday, Jackson. A deputy conducted a traffic stop in Jackson. After investigating, both the driver and passenger were arrested. The driver, a 33-year-old man from Rochester, was arrested for an active fifth-degree controlled substance possession charge in Goodhue County. He was later released to Goodhue County. The passenger, a 26-year-old woman from Worthington, was arrested for second-degree controlled substance possession and fifth-degree controlled substance possession. Two capped hypodermic needles and a plastic bottle with liquid inside it were reportedly seized. The liquid, which tested positive for methamphetamine, weighed 31 grams.
