Crashes
Pipestone County Sheriff’s Office: pickup versus tractor crash, 9:28 p.m. Friday, 1900 block of 180th Avenue. A 2013 Ford F-350 driven by Jason Kremin, Tyler, rear-ended a John Deere baler being pulled by an International 886 tractor driven by Peter Bouman, Ruthton. Both occupants of the pickup were transported to the hospital, and both the pickup and tractor were considered a total loss. Assisting at the scene were the Ruthton Fire and First Responders and Pipestone Ambulance.
Pipestone County Sheriff’s Office: two-vehicle crash, 6:05 a.m. Saturday, intersection of First Street and 150th Avenue, Edgerton. A 2004 Buick Regal driven by Ashley Moss, Edgerton, struck a 2013 Nissan Sentra driven by Chico Flute Player, Brookings, South Dakota. One individual was transported by Edgerton Ambulance to the Pipestone Medical Center with minor injuries. The Jasper and Edgerton ambulances both responded to the scene.WPD: crash without injuries, 12:57 p.m. Saturday, McMillan and Oxford Streets. Worthington Rescue dispatched.
WPD: hit and run, 12:04 a.m. Sunday, 15th Street and Third Avenue.
Minnesota State Patrol: two-vehicle crash with injuries, 10:41 a.m. Sunday, Interstate 90 and U.S. 59 ramp. Worthington ambulance and rescue dispatched. Richard Howard Cam, 79, of Worthington, was driving a 2010 Dodge Dakota and turning north on U.S. 59 from the I-90 off ramp when his vehicle was struck by a 2016 Jeep Cherokee driven by Dulci Ranell McGuire, 52, of Windom, who was southbound on U.S. 59. Cam sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Sanford Worthington Medical Center. He was wearing his seatbelt. McGuire, who was also wearing a seatbelt, was not injured. Assisting at the scene were the Worthington Police Department, Sanford Ambulance and Worthington Fire Department.

Lyon County (Iowa) Sheriff’s Office: Hunter Baker, 19, of Luverne, was arrested for operating while intoxicated, first offense, unlawful use of an ID card and person under 21 in possession of alcohol as a result of a traffic stop on Friday near Little Rock. Baker was driving a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer northbound on Marsh Avenue when it was stopped for speed, lane travel and equipment violations. A passenger in the vehicle, Johnathon Heidebrink, 20, of Luverne, was arrested for unlawful use of ID card and person under 21 in possession of alcohol. Both individuals were transported to and lodged at the Lyon County Jail.
