Crashes

WPD: crash without injuries, 7:33 p.m. Sunday, Winifred Street and Ninth Avenue.

Minnesota State Patrol: two-vehicle crash with injuries, 1:29 p.m. Sunday, intersection of U.S. 75 and 211th Street, Pipestone County. Ryan Curtis Weinkauf, 38, of Pipestone, was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado northbound on U.S. 75, and Mckenzie Ann Evers, 21, of Fulda, was driving a 2013 Nissan Altima westbound on 211th Street when the vehicles collided in the intersection. Evers sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the Pipestone Hospital. Weinkauf and a passenger, Michael Aaron Hiniker, 37, of Pipestone, were not injured. Evers was wearing a seatbelt, while Weinkauf and Hiniker were not. The airbags deployed in both vehicles. Assisting at the scene were the Pipestone County Sheriff’s Office, Lake Benton Fire Department, Pipestone Ambulance and Lake Benton Ambulance.

Fire

7:25 p.m. Sunday: The Woodstock Fire Department responded to a garage fire in the 200 block of West Street North in Woodstock. Assisting at the scene were the Pipestone County Sheriff’s Office, Edgerton Fire Department and Pipestone County Ambulance. The unattached garage sustained structural damage. No injuries were reported.
