Lyon County (Iowa) Sheriff’s Office: jackknifed truck and trailer, Friday, 2600 block of Iowa 18. Ty Koekoek, Rock Valley, Iowa, was driving a 2015 Ram 1500 pickup pulling a utility trailer northbound when he hit ice, jackknifed and entered the west ditch. Assisting at the scene were the Inwood Rescue and Inwood Fire Department.

Minnesota State Patrol: crash with injuries, 12:21 p.m. Saturday, Minnesota 91 near 190th Street, Lismore Township, Nobles County. Adam Christopher Diliberti, 52, of Zion, Illinois, was driving a 2019 Ford Pickup northbound on Minnesota 91 when the vehicle entered the west ditch due to the snow and ice-covered road and rolled. A passenger, Karen L Diliberti, 74, of Zion, Illinois, sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Sanford Worthington Medical Center. The driver was not injured. Both individuals were wearing their seatbelt and the airbag did deploy. Assisting at the scene were the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office, Lismore Fire Department and Adrian Ambulance.
Lyon County (Iowa) Sheriff’s Office: one vehicle rollover, Saturday, near the intersection of 180th Street and Grant Avenue. Isaac Buwalda, 19, of Ripon, California, was driving a 1999 Jeep Cherokee westbound on 180th Street when he hit a patch of ice, lost control, entered the south ditch and rolled, coming to rest on the driver’s side.

Minnesota State Patrol: two-vehicle crash with injuries, 8:26 a.m. Monday, U.S. 75 at First Street. Joel Richard Farrington, 45, was driving a 2005 Subaru Legacy east on Rock County 12. Danny Pete Englert, 55, of Luverne, was driving a 2017 Dodge Ram north on U.S. 75, accompanied by passenger Elizabeth Lynn Boyle, 74, of Yakima, Washington. The vehicles collided at the intersection. Airbags deployed in both vehicles, and all three people, who were wearing their seatbelts, received non-life-threatening injuries. All were transported to Pipestone County Medical Center. Jasper Fire and Hatfield First Responders assisted at the scene.
