Crashes

Jackson County Sheriff’s Office: car-deer crash, 5:37 a.m. Wednesday, Interstate 90 near Jackson.

Minnesota State Patrol: crash with injuries, 5:13 a.m. Friday, Interstate 90 near milepost 55 in Jackson County. Miguel Rosas Pena, 61, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was driving a 2021 Kia K5 west on I-90 when the vehicle left the roadway and rolled. Rosas Pena and his three passengers, including Kim Kaye Wilson, 58, also of Cedar Rapids, and two juveniles, were all wearing seat belts. All four sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Sanford Worthington Medical Center. Airbags did deploy. The Jackson County Sheriff's Office, Worthington Ambulance, Lakefield Fire and Lakefield Ambulance assisted at the scene.
