8:49 p.m. Saturday: 400 block of Olander Street, Worthington, adult female with a possible stroke.

7:53 a.m. Sunday: Worthington, ambulance requested.

1:03 a.m. Monday: 400 block of Sixth Avenue, Wilmont, Wilmont Rescue and Worthington Ambulance paged for an adult female who fell.

12:39 p.m. Monday: 2100 block of Nobles Street, Worthington, male having a seizure.



Lyon County (Iowa) Sheriff’s Office: two-vehicle crash, Friday, 260th Street and Hickory Avenue. Lane Driesen, of Hull, Iowa, was driving a 2004 Ford F150 east on 260th Street. Christopher Schwartze of Rock Rapids, Iowa, was driving a 2016 GMC Yukon XL north on Hickory Avenue. The vehicles collided in the intersection, resulting in approximately $8,000 in damage to the Ford and $16,000 to the GMC. Schwartze was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign. The sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by Doon (Iowa) Fire and Rescue, Lyon County Ambulance and Trackside Repair.
