Minnesota State Patrol: 2:52 a.m. Tuesday, Minnesota 30 near milepost 27, Leeds Township, Murray County. Davis Allen Vanderwal, 28, Hadley, was driving a 1997 Chevrolet GMT 400 eastbound on Minnesota 30 when the vehicle left the road and rolled. Roads were snow covered and icy, according to the state patrol. Vanderwal sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the Slayton Hospital. He was wearing his seatbelt, and alcohol was a factor in the crash. Assisting at the scene were the Murray County Sheriff’s office, Lake Wilson Fire Department and Lake Wilson First Responders.
5:23 p.m. Friday: 400 block of Mill Street West, Edgerton. Report of a tractor on fire. No injuries were reported. Edgerton Fire Department, Pipestone County Sheriff’s Office and Edgerton Ambulance responded to the scene.
