Fraud Awareness program set at Jackson County libraries

The Lakefield police chief will join the program in Lakefield and the Heron Lake police chief will join the program in Heron Lake.

JACKSON — The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office will host a Fraud Awareness program May 3, educating participants about mail, email and cell phone scams.

The Lakefield police chief will join the program in Lakefield and the Heron Lake police chief will join the program in Heron Lake.

The monthly program for adults is free and will begin at noon at the Jackson Library, 2 p.m. at the Lakefield Library and 5:30 p.m. at the Heron Lake Library.

Registration is not required. Call or stop into the library for more information.
