WINDOM — HyLife Foods Windom, LLC, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in Delaware.

"Debtors have been experiencing significant operating losses over the past approximately two years due to a confluence of factors, including, among other things, COVID related disruptions, unfavorable commodity pricing dynamics, and unfavorable foreign exchange pricing in connection with international sales, resulting in a significant impairment of Debtors’ anticipated export revenues," states a court document asking that the Chapter 11 cases of HyLife Foods Windom and affiliates Tritek International and Canwin Farms be administered jointly.

"Debtors filed these Chapter 11 Cases to pursue a restructuring of their balance sheets and operations and are actively marketing the business and assets to potential going concern buyers."

According to its paperwork, the company believes that after administrative expenses are paid, no funds will be available for distribution to unsecured creditors, of whom there are between 200 and 999.

The company listed its estimated assets at between $100,000,001 and $500 million, with an estimated liabilities of between $100,000,001 and $500 million.
