Jackson County during World War II highlighted in library event

JACKSON — Bob Svoboda, longtime Jackson County resident and speaker, will give a presentation about the history of Jackson County during World War II at noon March 1 at the Jackson County Library in Jackson.
The District 518 Board of Education approved changes in employment for many employees at its March 21 meeting.
The program, about how residents made do and carried on with their lives during challenging times, is free, and registration is not required. For more information, call (507) 847-4748.
