“I feel like being in all three, each one pushes you in the other groups,” said Jenson.
New students were inducted into the National Honor Society last week.
“I really hope that they find someone that really sees the Learning Center as the gem that it is. Someone who really has a heart for serving the students and the families.”

Jenson and Ezra Bonnett were chosen to represent WHS at the regional level this year for the award honoring high school seniors, which required a 3.0 or higher GPA as well as participation in League-sponsored athletic and fine arts activities.

“Ezra Bonnett and Ivy both represented Worthington and District 518 very well,” said Anne Foley, public relations/communications coordinator for District 518.

The male student chosen to represent Region 2AA at the state-level competition is Avery Anderson, Orono. He and Jenson will be invited to a recognition banquet in March and League officials will announce the four statewide Triple A Award winners at that time.

All 32 finalists will also participate in an on-court ceremony during the Class AA championship game of the boys basketball state tournament. The statewide award winners — a girl and a boy from Class A and Class AA schools — will also receive a four-year $1,000 scholarship.
