WORTHINGTON — Eventually, the Nobles County Library Board will need to hire an architect to begin designing the refresh/remodel/renovation of its Worthington branch, but at this point, the project remains in the information-gathering stage.
The “refresh, remodel or renovate” project is in the Nobles County Library’s Implementation Plan, listed as the third strategy for meeting the first goal, “Improve current facilities and expand access for all.”
Board member Kathy Craun suggested checking the library-specific research done for the W.E.L.L. (Welcome, Education, Library, Livability) project, as the architect had spent time researching staff needs and library trends at that point.
Staff focus group meetings will continue as input is gathered, said Bruce Heitkamp, Nobles County administrator.
