WORTHINGTON — The Nobles County Library, 407 12th St., Worthington, is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The Adrian Branch Library, 214 Maine Ave., Adrian, is open from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The Nobles County Library will be closed Monday, Jan. 2 in observance of the New Year. We will resume regular business hours on Tuesday.

Wednesday, Jan. 4: Story Time (toddlers and preschoolers), 10 to 11 a.m.; Just Gurlz (for girls in grades 5-9) after school until 4:45 p.m.

Thursday, Jan. 5: After-School Program (Grades K-5), until 4:45 p.m.

Monday, Jan. 9: Wii (for grades 5-9), after school until 4:45 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 10: After-School Program (Grades K-5), until 4:45 p.m.

New at the Library

Winter Reading Program: The Winter Reading Program begins Jan. 3rd and ends March 31. Visit either Nobles County library branch on or after Jan. 3 to sign up and get your punch card. Read 12 books (or audio/e-books) and bring your punch card back to choose your prize. After you’ve turned in your completed card(s), fill out a raffle ticket for the Grand Prize drawing in one of three categories — men, women and teen. You must be at least 16 years old to participate.

Did you know?: The Nobles County Library (Worthington Branch) has over 5,800 DVDs in our collection for patrons to choose from.
